In the year 1987, Air Force captain William "Buck" Rogers tests the Ranger 3 spacecraft. Hoping to ride the crest of its success with Dallas, CBS spun off this series featuring the black sheep of the Ewing Family, Gary Ewing. Gary worked for Sid Fairgate, owner of Knots Landing Motors, the local classic car dealership. Sid and his wife Karen Fairgate had three teenage children: Eric Fairgate, Michael Fairgate, and Diana Fairgate. The other two couples on the cul-de-sac were young recording executive Kenny Ward and his attractive wife, Ginger, and Richard and Laura Avery.

This show, loosely based on Marvel's character, is about a boy named Benjy who, whenever trouble arises, puts his rings together and says "Thing Ring Do Your Thing" and becomes the Thing. The Thing is a creature that is covered in orange rock and has great strength. With these powers, he stops crime and rescues himself and his friends from the current situation. Only Kelly knows of Benjy's powers.

This animated series was produced by DePatie-Freleng Enterprises, with the character of Spider-Woman being specifically created in order for Marvel Comics to have a female counterpart to Spider-Man before any other comics company thought of the idea. For the TV show, only Spider-Woman's real name and powers were kept intact from the comicbook. Everything else about the show's setup was created specifically for the television series. Her origin for the TV show was that as a child she was bitten by a poisonous spider. Her father, Dr. Alexander Drew saved her life by using an untested spider serum that inadvertently gave her spider powers. And now, with Jessica as the head of Justice Magazine, she battles evil as Spider-Woman, with the help of photographer Jeff Hunt, and her nephew Billy Drew. Spider-Man also guest stars in two episodes of the series.

In this short-lived TV ripoff of ANIMAL HOUSE, three fun-loving misfits (Zipper, Checko & Ronald) inhabit the basement of the preppie Pi Nu fraternity house on the Crandall College campus, run by unctuous Dean Crandall. Zipper, Checko & Ronald don't spend much time going to class, preferring instead to hang out, torment the more straight-laced members of Pi Nu and chase the beautiful, stuck-up girls of the Gamma Iota sorority.

Tales Of The Unexpected is a British television series originally aired between 1979 and 1988, made by Anglia Television for ITV. The series was an anthology of different tales. Initially episodes were based on the short stories collected in the books Tales of the Unexpected, Kiss Kiss and Someone Like You by Roald Dahl. The stories were sometimes sinister, sometimes wryly comedic, and usually had a twist ending. The upbeat theme music for the series was written by the prolific film and television composer Ron Grainer.

His cool head and keen intellect are a perfect complement for the constant craziness that surrounds Gov. Gatling and his entourage.

Casper the Friendly Ghost was a guardian angel for two female motorcycle space cops named Minnie (who was rather ditzy and had a Southern accent) and Maxie (who was a much more intelligent African-American woman) in the year 2179. They were joined by a rambunctious ghost named Hairy Scary, who would scare villains and troublemakers, but unlike most other ghosts, was accepting of the fact that Casper was a gentle ghost who did not like to scare people.

"Mrs. Columbo" (later known as "Kate Columbo," followed by "Kate the Detective" and then ultimately "Kate Loves a Mystery") was an American crime drama television series initially based on the wife of Lieutenant Columbo, the title character from the television series "Columbo." Neither Peter Falk nor the character of Lieutenant Columbo ever appeared on or endorsed this show. After poor ratings and reception from both audiences and the original producers of "Columbo," the series and the eponymous character herself were renamed in an attempt to change direction. However, this did not help ratings, and the series was ultimately canceled in March 1980 after 13 episodes.

This spinoff from "Three's Company" follows Stanley and Helen Roper, the owners of a new condo in a ritzy neighborhood. His neighbor, balding realtor Jeffrey P. Brooks III, felt that the earthy Roper was downgrading the neighborhood. The New Fred and Barney Show is a Saturday-morning cartoon series produced by Hanna-Barbera for NBC in 1979. Its episode plots resembled those of the original prime-time series The Flintstones. The television series was produced by Filmation, and aired from 1979 to 1981 on CBS with over 48 episodes produced. It is not to be confused with Mighty Mouse: The New Adventures.

The show typically features politicians from at least the three major political parties as well as other public figures who answer questions put to them by the audience. The independent production company Mentorn has made the programme for the BBC since 1998.

Not The Nine O'Clock News was a satirical show broadcast on BBC2 (UK) from 1979 to 1982. Noted for its topical sketches and skits, it made stars of Rowan Atkinson, Mel Smith, Griff Rhys-Jones and Pamela Stephenson. The show required a large number of writers, and to this end operated an "open door" policy, accepting sketch ideas from anybody who wanted to contribute. With a large number of contributing writers, there was plenty of material to go round, and only the best ideas made it to the screen; thus the series was able to maintain a remarkably high quality of material across four series. The series ended in 1982, partly due to the various cast members wanting to pursue their own projects instead.

"Trapper John, M.D." brought the character of "Trapper John" from M*A*S*H in as the Chief of Surgery at San Franscico Memorial Hospital. Joining him on the surgical staff was a brilliant young surgeon, G. Alonzo "Gonzo" Gates, who had also served in a MASH unit --- in Vietnam. The show covered standard medical stories, but it also took chances with such subjects as AIDS, the Epstein-Barr Virus, and Post Traumatic Stress Syndrome.

Audrey fforbes-Hamilton has fallen on hard times since the death of her husband, Martin. Forced to sell Grantleigh Manor, which has been in her family for 400 years, she graciously adjusts to her new circumstances in The Lodge at the edge of the estate. With the Manor now occupied by supermarket magnate Richard DeVere and his elderly mother, "Mrs Poo". Audrey is soon annoyed that her position on the estate has been usurped - and by a man who represents everything Audrey regards as bad taste. It's clearly a love-hate relationship from the beginning, but between foiling DeVere's plans and bringing his ego down a notch or two, Audrey manages to stamp her authority on the running of the Manor while the faint whisper of romance echoes across the way.
